Fever In the morning

Although this inner thinking need grew up on me during the last days and as i have posted below i would stop blogging for some days (having in mind for a week), i went ill (2nd time this year) and i 'm tortured by this horrible fever now. Since yesterday i 'm in my pyjamas doing almost nothing. This evening though i felt a little bit better and couldn't help it but stick in front of my pc..

Oscar's 2008 never worn dream dresses

Style.com tapped ten designers to create the perfect gown for the Oscar's leading ladies. Clockwise, Peter Som went for 'peacock' shades and a layered chiffon and tulle look for Cate Blanchett. Costello Tagliapietra created an amazingly erotic dress for Amy Ryan using mainly gold panne velvet and some discrit slits on the back. Richard Chai having in mind Tilda Swinton and her "i hate chic!" declaration opted for something playful and ethereal. I would love to have seen her in this dress.. For the younger ones Phillip Lim accentuated that:"One error a lot of young actresses commit at awards shows is that they make themselves look a lot older than they actually are by wearing overpowering clothes." And indeed both Ellen Page and Saoirse Ronan fell in this trap, don't you think? Therefore Lim went for a cinched waist and the organza flower at the shoulder to play a little bit more with the lines sticking to simplicity. Rodarte designed for Saoirse Ronan a fantasy bubble pink pleated tulle dress just for her age and the event. Gorgeous!

Are you sure now my ladies that you chose the right dress for you? I have some serious doubts now that i 've seen these. At least on paper they all seem like true fairy tale. I wonder why we don't often see such wonderful and unique pieces when the red carpet time arrives.

Smile please!

"Iekeliene Stange doesn't just take photos to work out her wrists, they actually end up in magazines like Muse, Japanese Harper's Bazaar and The Room for all (ok, some of) the world to see.

She's currently taking black-and-white photos of the backstage madness during Paris Fashion Week, all of which will be, according to her, "from my perspective."

According to WWD, she plans to show an exhibition of her work, which covers several seasons of fashion, at a London gallery."

But what you don't know is that (...) it's actually cerulean.

is not just blue, it's not turquoise, it's not lapis... *

The best part of FWs are the 'shows' before and after the actual show, with loads of champagne and delis, goofiness, laughs, hugs, model style, funny poses, beautiful portrait pictures taken, applausing and above all a sweet anxiety for the upcoming and a huge relief when lights turn out.
Voilà some of the backstage/front row (waiting for the show to begin) and after-show party moments:
